Maren

Last night was a dream.

I went to a piano recital that was so perfect. The programs, the setup, the kids, the pieces, the treats afterwards, etc. And it was all done by Maren. She so kindly let my piano student join her recital.

Then I came home and ate some cookies from a fabulous cookbook that Maren put together. It is my favorite cookbook in the world. Everything I have made from it has been delicious. And when I look at it, I think of my friends.

Then I cuddled up and watched a movie that Maren gave me. "A Cinderella Story" with Hilary Duff. Guilty pleasure. Love that movie.
I was tempted to make myself some delicious hot chocolate with candy canes that Maren gave me, but I decided to save it for tonight or tomorrow night. I can't wait.

Needless to say, I LOVE my friend Maren. She is simply amazing. I want to be just like her.

    oh, rach. this just made me smile. i don't deserve the praise. i'm equally (if not more) grateful for you. i think Someone knew i needed a friend like you. :)
